Olumide (more fondly known as Lumi) is one of the three founding partners of the firm. After first graduating as a student of Sociology and Economics, Lumi subsequently qualified as a solicitor, in the UK and then in Nigeria, and has now amassed almost twenty years of experience in entertainment, technology and telecoms law. His primary areas of focus for the firm relate to commercial litigation and our firm’s technology/telecoms clients.
Lumi is also a chartered tax consultant and an associate member of the Institute of Directors. He sits on the Board of Directors/Advisors of a number of entertainment, technology and telecommunications companies utilizing his vast experience in corporate governance, corporate finance and business analysis. He is also the Chair of the Music Publishers Association of Nigeria (MPAN), with members including Chocolate City Music Ltd, Universal Music Africa and Premier Music Company Ltd.
Lumi is currently working with the Office of the Governor of Ogun State as a Special Assistant on Legal Matters; assisting the Governor’s Office, the Office of Attorney-General of Ogun State, and the Ministry of Justice across a variety of areas including but not limited to: commercial advisory services, litigation, policy development, legislative drafting and justice reform through digitization and ICT development.
