Omolola Oyedele
Omolola Oyedele is a passionate creative – drummer, photographer, producer and fashion entrepreneur- and entertainment lawyer. With specialized interests in the music, film and applied arts industry, Lola is especially attached to the creative industry as a creative herself.
The graduate of law from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Kaduna State (2014) got called to the Nigerian Bar in 2015. She also has further training in Human Resource Management and Project Management certified from Envirofly U.K.
She started out as a talent manager and a member of a leading gospel hip hop and rap group called “Rhema Process”, worked as Public relations officer as well as legal adviser for companies like C4 Music entertainment and 7th Creative Entertainment. Lola joined the law firm in 2016 as a junior associate and has since risen to senior associate in the law firm. She works closely with the managing partner in the administration of the law firm.
Lola who is proficient in music publishing, music business consulting, intellectual property profiling as well as the general nature of the film production process, takes complex technical ideas and distils them into user-friendly visuals and numerical metrics to improve her clients’ dealings in the entertainment industry. Lola has been involved in high level negotiation process such as helping her clients sign up with one of the big “3” labels, onboarding legacy catalog on reputable distribution platforms, profiling legacy catalogs of deceased popular asset owners amongst many others.
Lola’s portfolio demonstrates her ability to capitalize on every pixel for the overall benefit of startups or established entertainment stakeholders and outfits.
Lola is known in many social circles that incubates young creative talents. She is easily recognized as the life of the party.
